Ultra-Wide Band radio technology (UWB) is not a new technology radio. Based on military, ultra-wide band radio, developed more than forty years ago, will allow new possibilities in the personal computing. UWB is always in development and in the course of standardization in the computing industry. UWB will be probably the most promising technology in the network WPAN (Wireless Personal Access Network) because of its very high bandwidth, weak electric consumption and short-range characteristics. The promulgate authorization by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States in 2002 allows the emission of UWB signals in the wave band between 3.1 GHz and 10.6 GHz for communications. The low level energy (-41.25 dBm/MHz) has to allow the joint use of the UWB with the existing services in this band. UWB is the base of futures wireless technologies as wireless USB or Bluetooth next generation.
