Summary

A network analyser is an implement which allows to listen to the traffic of a network on which it is. With this tool, we can capture all information which cross on our network interface. It's an essential pedagogic tool in aim to understand the way of a message to cross the network.

The network analyzer plugs into a port on a network hub or switch and decodes one or more protocols into a human-readable format for the network administrator. Network analyzers can also analyze the packets in realtime in order to alert the administrator about problems.

The problem of security settles when information as for example couples login / passwords circulates clearly on network. To resolve this problem, there are some techniques which uses to crypt datas on network.
