Nowadays, the world of networking and telecommunication is confronted with a vast revolution. This revolution is made possible by the recent improvement of communication network bandwidth. As data flow becomes more and more important, new kinds of applications are possible and already existing applications can be improved. The best example of this evolution is Voice Over IP (VOIP). VOIP has highlighted the importance of main issues for multimedia over IP, Quality of service (QoS) being one of them. VOIP has led to the appearance of new kinds of media. Video and data transfer make applications more complete and new network protocols have been specially invented for multimedia applications. If we consider present market demand, we can say that multimedia applications will evolve in the near future. The market is very competitive; industries of networking are in a constant battle to propose the best product in terms of services and performance.
